KARAOKE FEVER !!
No doubt my space friends have been wondering where I have been. I have been trying out a Karoke site and I must say I am hooked. It has given me back some confidence I lack in singing again, plus it’s a good way of exercising these sick lungs of mine, which I talked to you about in my first blog. Wait for it…….!!!

MichaelB here. Thanks for visiting my space. Scotland is it? My ancestors came from there. We\’ve traced our roots to the very first one to come across the pond. That would be JohnB. We know he came from the Isle of Skye in 1798. But that\’s all we know of his life before he came here.
I like your tartan finder. I looked up mine. Looks a lot like McLeod hunting. It may possibly be in fact since my last name is sept to the McLeods. I should have looked that up before I started typing for comparison, but I didn\’t.
I used to go to the occational Scottish festival here in Texas, but I have\’nt been now in several years. So I\’m a little rusty on my Scottish awareness (tartans and such).
So you\’re doing karaoke are you? My singing voice is presentable to me alone so I couldn\’t do that. I can sing while riding my bike though since no one else can hear! (smile).

I love the skull. As for horror films, there is always \’Sleepy Hollow\’ or \’A nightmare on Elm Street\’ [Johnny Depp], but my chosen film for this halloween is \’Constantine\’ with Keanu Reeves. I also love Stephen King.
I have got my pumpkin and have just spent a fortune on sweeties for the \’trick or treaters\’. So I\’m all set and we\’re having a party.

Ah yes Karaoke. I did it once at this club and sang Carole King\’s "It\’s Too Late" and I was sober. It came up surprisingly ok. It\’s fun if you\’re with friends. Just came by through Penny\’s GB signing event. Hope you have a wonderful day and a Happy Halloween!

Here is my Sunday Generic Message/
What a month October has been. Everyone has been busy making their lovely Halloween sites. Each one spookier and scarier than the last. I don’t know about anyone else but I really loved taking part in Carlos’ guestbook signing event. It gave me an opportunity to see even more Halloween sites and meet lots of new people.
Well done to everyone who took part and a huge big special well done to Gaylene for being voted as the best Halloween space. If you haven’t been to congratulate her yet please take some time to go and say well done. You will find her award information in the newspaper. Caroline also won an award for the most humour/sarcasm. Please go and give her your congratulations too.
Some of you already know that last week I had to award myself my own Angel of the month award. Lol. Thanks to Helen who wouldn’t take no for an answer (bless her) Lots of you came and left messages saying you wanted me to be nominated your angel of the month for October. I was amazed at how many of you took the time and trouble to come and tell me how much you think of me. It felt really strange making an award for myself but I was moved to tears by your love and support. Thank you so much to you all. For those of you who felt as if you’d missed something I appreciate you telling me you would have liked to have voted too.
Now I need some nominations for the November Angel of the month award so please let us know if you know anyone who deserves this award. They don’t need to be a spacer, they can be anyone you know or even someone famous. The link for your nominations is in the left hand column on my front page, in the Index.
Thank you to all of you who came to support the breast cancer awareness ribbon appeal. As October is finished now I won’t be taking anymore requests for ribbons. It is up to you now to keep or delete the ribbons on your sites. I’m sorry that I haven’t updated the songfairy site yet with the amount raised. I am still waiting to get the sponsorship money in before I know the final amount we raised. I hoped it would be in last week but I am still waiting. The youngsters who had their legs waxed for this sponsored event are all doing their best to get the money in.
Thanks to Rusty, My new appeal is to have poppy’s up in your sandboxes for November. I hope you are not all fed up with my constant appeals for your support. It is something that gets us all together toward a common goal. We do a wonderful job raising awareness and educating each other on these important world issues. I for one get a lot out of It and I hope you do to. Come and leave a message to have a poppy in your name in the special table and then copy and paste the special poppy into your sandbox, or at least near the top of your site for the month of November. If you make a special tribute to Remembrance day please let me know and I will link your site along with Rusty’s. Please make sure to visit Rusty’s Veterans site and leave her any photo’s or information about your loved one’s who have fought for their country in any of the wars of history.
Please come and see me when you can. Everytime you leave me a personal message you get an answer back so if I don’t answer it may be because I missed your message.
